Privacy Policy
Hubora is a workspace for collaborating with the people outside your company — clients, partners, and vendors. This policy explains what personal data we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to hubora.com and the Hubora application during our private beta.
01 Who we are
Hubora (“Hubora”, “we”, “us”) provides the Hubora collaboration platform and is the controller of the personal data described here. For any privacy question you can reach us at alen.omerovic@hubora.com.
02 Information we collect
- Account data — your name, email address, and the organization or hub you belong to.
- Content you create — messages, documents, tasks, files, and other material you and your collaborators add to a hub.
- Usage and device data — IP address, browser and device type, and diagnostic logs generated when you use the service.
- Cookies — strictly necessary cookies that keep you signed in and keep your session secure.
03 How we use your information
- Provide, operate, and maintain the service.
- Authenticate you and keep accounts and data secure.
- Send transactional and service emails — email verification, password resets, security alerts, hub invitations, and notifications you have not turned off.
- Respond to support requests and communicate about the service.
- Diagnose problems, prevent abuse, and improve the product.
- Comply with legal obligations.
04 Legal bases (EEA / UK users)
Where the GDPR applies, we process personal data to perform our contract with you (providing the service), for our legitimate interests (securing, maintaining, and improving the service), with your consent where required, and to comply with our legal obligations.
05 Email we send
We send only transactional and service email needed to run your account and your hubs. Recipients are registered users and people explicitly invited to collaborate — we do not buy contact lists and do not send marketing email without consent. Addresses that bounce or report a complaint are automatically suppressed.
06 Sharing and service providers
We do not sell personal data. We share it only with service providers that help us run Hubora — cloud hosting and storage, transactional email delivery, and error and uptime monitoring — each bound by contract to process data only on our instructions. We may also disclose data where required by law.
07 Storage, security, and location
Data is stored on infrastructure located in the European Union and encrypted in transit. Access is restricted, and tenant data is isolated at the database level so one organization cannot read another's. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your data using appropriate technical and organizational measures.
08 Data retention
We keep personal data for as long as your account or organization is active and as needed to provide the service. When it is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it, unless we must keep it to meet a legal obligation.
09 Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, export, or restrict the processing of your personal data, to object to certain processing, and to withdraw consent. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection authority. To exercise any of these, contact alen.omerovic@hubora.com.
10 Cookies
Hubora uses strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in and to protect your session. We do not use advertising cookies. If we add optional analytics in the future, we will update this policy and ask for consent where required.
11 Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the product evolves. The date at the top shows when it last changed, and we will flag material changes through the service.
